Islam, is a deen based upon the teachings of Muhammad (  صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم ). It is a way of life in which Muslims believe in and follow. But the questions that arise these days, over 1400 years after the Prophet and his companions are:

• Which Islam was revealed over 14 centuries ago?
• Which is the true version from those being presented today?
• How do we decide and how can we know what Allah swt revealed?
• What exactly did Allah swt intend for us to follow?
• Are all or any of the interpretations correct today?

We live in a time where many profess and propagate the idea that they follow Islam. True Islam. We have many who label themselves Muslims such as: Sunni, sufi, shia, salafi, shafi, hanafi, brelvi, deobandi, modernists, traditionalists, Nation of Islam, Qadiani’s, 19’s, Quranists… and many many more.

So, if you are submitting to Islam, if you are a Muslim, and have decided to dedicate your life, or even your rituals and worship to Islam, it would make sense to know which path is correct from all of these. With ideas that are contradictory and sometimes at opposite ends of the spectrum to each other, it would be rational to assume that not all of these sects/groupings can be or would be correct. So why would one dedicate themselves a particular view without being sure which one or ones are on the right path and would lead to paradise.

This blog aims to answer these questions, especially in the face of modernist trends that we see occurring today.
